You should have lied Ch.6

Andy ran to the corner to see if Ash was there, but instead he saw some guys alittle farther down. Knowing this is a bad part of the town he turned around to leave. He got about five steps when he felt a hand on his shoulder.
"Ain't it past your bedtime?" He heard the voice ask.
"No I don't have one." Andy responded, pulling his shoulder out of the grasp and started walking away from the guys. He could hear the foot steps behind him and he knew what was coming next. It's always the same with 'bullies' first it's words and then it gets physical. And that is when he got hit in the back of his head, making him fall to his knees. He placed his hand where he had been hit and felt something wet and sticky. 'Great just what I needed.' he thought.
Before Andy could get up to defend himself he was pushed to the cold hard ground. Damn, how he wished he'd put a shirt on. He could feel every kick and punch that hit him. All he could do was try to get into a curl position to protected his ribs and head. Silently praying someone would help him before he lost consciousness, but knew no one was around to here is silent pleads.
The attack went on for what felt like an a hour, when a voice broke the noise of body hitting body, "Hey, get off of him."
The attackers left Andy's body and turned towards the new voice. Ashley stood three feet away from the assaulters and the fragile body of the boy.
"Who's gonna stop us pip squeak." A tall man asked.
"I will." Ashley said, standing his ground.
"I'd like to see you try." The guy said, then him and his friends started laughing. Ashley's eyes shifted from the guys to Andy's broken body. One of them noticed and smiled, walking over to the figure on the ground.
"Oh, is this little bitch your's. I don't think we've hurt him.. that much." The guy laughed as he landed another loud kick to Andy's rib cage. Crack. Andy's body didn't move an inch, just laid there almost dead like, but Ashley knew that wasn't true cause he could see the slight movement of his body trying to get air.
"You'll pay for that." Ashley growled. Eyeing the men, and taking a step forward.

The band mates and Sandra have been sitting in the hallway for about an hour now. No one went after Andy or Ashley, everyone just thought they would come back on their own. Now they were starting to disagree with that thought, and wished someone was with them. Sandra cursed herself for not being with Andy. She swore with Ashley to always look out for him.
"I guess we both failed at that." She said out loud not even realizing it until she looked up.
"What did you say." Jake asked, kinda confused, CC's and Jinxx's face similar to his.
Sandra thought for a minute before she spoke, " Ash and I.. we swore to always protect Andy no matter what. whether the band broke up, or one of us left, or both of us. We took it upon ourselves to keep him safe. And after tonight I think both me and Ashley has failed that oath." She finshed looking down.
"It's not your fault though." Jake replied. An uncomfortable silence formed around them. Sandra's head snapped up as she heard the elevator ding. She saw Ashley first, and was ready to yell at him, until she saw what he was carrying in his arms. The lifeless body of Andy.
